I really like this story. There aren't many Jack Fowler stories out there and this one is pretty good. I can't wait to find out what happens next! update soon! By the way, it would be cool if you could check out some of my stories..

The story is good, but you could fix the little glitches around. When someone's speaking, put it in a different paragraph. So instead of: "That's great, sweetie. I'm sure you'll find something soon. You're a bright young girl and I know you'll do great." Her warm smile instantly made me feel better. "Thanks, mom. And thanks again for helping me out until I can support myself. I figured since the vet business is booming in Orlando I'd be able to find a job quick. That's why I moved down here..." "I know honey, and it's no trouble. Get some rest now. I love you." I smiled at her, "I love you too mom."

It looks neater and better. Also, don't put more than one exclamation mark, it makes it look unproffesional and it's unnecessary. When using numbers it's okay to say 90% or 9:30am. But not 3 dogs or around 3. Say around three because, again, it looks neater and better.

Work on your descriptions, it makes the story more realistic.

Aaaaand, basically that's it :) Keep up the good work and you'll be an amazing writer one day!

Super interesting story. I find it funny that there's a Jasmine in the story. I actually really like that the main dude in this stry is Jack. I haven't seen a lot of these around on this site. Good job! Loving the plot so far!
