Great job with the update, though! Sorry it took me so long to comment, I've been a tad busy.
Aw, so they had a bit of an argument. But they made up though, yay! I can understand why Madison feels the way she does... Alex seemed to be the only difference in her life and so she wants to keep it that way. It's more refreshing that way too, if he just treats her normally... less intense stuff going on.
Aha, reading about them eating has made me hungry! XD Great...
But anyway, great job with the update! Can't wait to see what happens at Disney. :-)

Very cute update. :DD It actually made me emotional even though it was kind of simple. It was the Peter Pan and Lost Boy parts, like, her calling him that just made me think of Somewhere in Neverland, and with the prospect of what happens in the future of this story specifically I got to thinking, what if he writes that song for her? Or it's like, even if you don't go that far ahead like I can just picture it and it's making me sad that it happened in their sweet time together. :'( I just started tearing up and yeah, lol, you still got to me with this chapter. Not to mention that song in general just makes me emotional for the cuteness of it. But anyway...
Hm... and then I liked the beginning when he compared her to Ariel. She is like her. :)

I promise I'm going to finish it! I just have a lot less free time than I did when I started writing. Also thanks for pointing out the name thing! I thought I had already gone back and fixed that...but apparently not, so I'll fix that today! Also, sorry for making you cry but thank you so much for reading!

Hmmm... okay, so I started this thinking that it was finished, because the last chapter title of the last update you posted is a bit misleading... so it turns out it isn't.
OMG, though, you need to finish this. This is seriously one of the best AG fan fics I have read on here; I'll admit that I was bit hesitant at first, it started off a bit slow and I was like OH NO, this is going to be sad and I'm not sure if I want to deal with that... but I went ahead and started reading anyways and I must say that it is amazing.
Another thing I must mention: this is the only AG fan fic that I've read that's made me CRY... like, in multitudes, not even just once. I don't think I've ever cried once over an Alex story... or wait, that might be a lie, but this definitely takes the cake for the record. You are such a great writer and have me crying left and right... like, between the hopeless romantic parts and then the truly sad parts with her battle... just... :'(((((((((((((((
It's safe to assume I am a mess right now. And I started this story... 10 hours ago? lol. I GOT THROUGH THIS IN LESS THAN A DAY. Like, this is saying something else in itself girl. That is how much I am loving it. Your other story was great but this one is even better and gah... now that I think about it maybe it was your other story I cried over. XD LMAO. So wait, you're one of the few writers on here who have made me cry. But seriously this story has done it in the multitudes.
There are a few things off with it (one major thing I noted is that her brother's name keeps switching back and forth between Wes and Nate, which is it?), but it's all in looking back over it and editing. This story is pretty much perfect though, emotional to a T.
I really hope you continue this! I will hopefully be here if you do. I really want to know how it all wraps up and what all Alex and Madison get to do and awww... their relationship just makes me want to cry.
I think another problem I'm having is that I keep comparing it to A Walk to Remember and that is my all-time favorite movie because of it's perfect emotional scenes and just... yeah. lol. It's kind of like it but the characters are obviously different and there's different scenarios and yeah. But I guess the main thing that reminded me of it was how much Madison's life was impacted by Alex like Jamie's was with Landon... :')
I apologize if some of this is just sounding totally bonkers. It's late and I'm lacking sleep. XD
But anyway, can't wait for more!

:D you're welcome!!! I'm just really good at noticing details in people's writing and such; yet I totally suck at English10(I'm in grade 10) lol, I like tried to ignore the error and change 'Nate' into 'Wes' in my head but that didn't work so well.

Ah! Thanks for pointing that out! I thought his name was Wes too but I couldn't remember because when I hand wrote the story I wrote him as Nate. I'll definitely go back and fix that!

Ok let me just say that your story, by far is the BEST Alex Gaskarth fan fiction that I've ever read. I'm just so in love with this story, it brings tears to my eyes, it makes me laugh out loud, it makes me go "Awww", "this is so cute". I espically love that you have few mistakes and grammar and spelling errors, te only thing that confuses me is that Madison's brother, his name looks like it changed like I'm pretty sure it was 'Wes' and now it's changed to 'Nate'

Wow. Ok i'm a subscriber and an author with a passion for originality. I don't really care for the whole fan fiction writings but if the plot is engaging enough and the writing is exceptional like yours it's hard for me to resist! The characters a have real life problems and are super dynamic. I love how their conflicts are relatable to reality. The way you set up promises and the underlying tone of death is amazing. I am a whole hearted reader and I will not lie. This last chapter had me all teary eyed and sniffling. Don't lose faith that your story is not being read! There are dedicated readers out there who forget (or are too shy) to comment on your story. Hopefully you'll take my comment as a pick me up and be a little more confident in your writings. Well, good luck on future chapters.

In Charlotte, NC? If so, then yes! I spend a lot of time in NODA so I'm definitely using it as inspiration for the art district in this story.

So I just read the first chapter of this. Is there any chance that the bakery you wrote about is actually real and goes by the name Amelie's? What you described sounds EXACTLY like this shop in my city.
