Just wait until you see the situation Whitney and Will put those brothers in. I hope you will find it as entertaining as I do. I'm a total sucker for those brothers as well....and the fact that Jared plays for my team does little to help. :)

I am a sucker for the Staal brothers. Like legit. The first fan fic I read for the NHL was a Staal brother fan fic - so go easy on my boys, okay? I knew Jord had to play the villian in the story .. but I'm hoping Marc and the voice of reason will calm him down and everything - so excited to know they'll be back in the story though!! Thanks for clarifying it!! Another good chapter - let's see some more moments between Jon and Whitney [and I especially love the little moments between Whitney and Patty <3!] Merry Christmas and please, please, PLEASE update soon!!

Thank you! The lockout (and tumblr) has opened my eyes to a segment of the NHL that I am not familiar with so I went into this one blindly as the Blackhawks were not on my radar before now. Jordan AND Marc are definitely not married in this story...and that's important to note as the brothers Staal turn up again later. I'm not not done with them yet....there's a reason this was titled Staals and Blackhawks until I could come up with a real title. :)

Oh...definintely tirimisu is what I think Jon tastes like ;) LOVE this story!!! And I'm so in love with all the characterizations and the life you give to the players - especially Viktor ;) Please update soon!! [PS - I take it Jordan's not married though...? Real life, he got news that he was being traded to Carolina on his wedding day ;)]

1. The chapter was NOT way too long even though I love where it ended; now I can't wait until the next update.

Aww! Thank you @ allietoews! Best comment ever. Hope it lives up to expectations. This is honestly my favorite story that I've written to date which is saying a lot because I really love my Max and Zoe universe. :) There are three parts upcoming that still make me giggle and smile whenever I read them. They happen in chapters 4 and 5, chapter 8, and chapter 10.

This might just be one of my favorites!

I like to live in a world where none of the Staal's are married so no, Jordan won't be married in this story. :) Glad you like it so far.

Really interesting start so far, I am really looking forward to the next chapter. I'd love to find out what Jon's issue with her and Staal is. Is Jordan married in your story?

I know what you mean about writing about the lockout. I was planning to ignore it until I came up with an idea that could only happen because of the lockout.
