First, I think everything you've set up so far is wonderful. The summary was very intriguing and perked my interest, so I knew right away I had to keep on reading. I also felt the same way about the first chapter. It was kind of dark and mysterious and managed to capture my attention easily.
Second, I love your use of detail. You paint a very nice picture with your words, and everything you describe is easy to imagine. This first line, "The fresh smell of sea salt bit at the frigid chill in the air, and even though it was summer, it could have passed for the dead of winter," is so beautiful. I could almost feel the coldness of the air and hear the waves crashing against the cliff in the background.
Third, I really like your characters. I love it when I'm able to relate to a character, which is how I feel about Sadie. I don't know much about the others yet, but Luna is my favorite already (she's so silly and quirky and can she please be my best friend?). Also, Owen and Peter are studs.
Fourth, I'm definitely subscribing and recommending this!
