Dear author, the title is unique and I kind of liked that. From the story title, I could already tell what this one-shot would be about. "When the going gets tough, you find out who your real friends are", that's so damn true. Excellent plot line. "But the gun in my hand felt heavy, and the reality of my death fantasies set in", you described that part perfectly like a poem. "as I gave two fucks and half a dead Satanic rat's ass what she thought about me", I liked the use of this long sentence and I wouldn't have cared either. You made feel like I was in her shoes and that alone is great and hard to do. You even made me cry. That was one of the reasons I hate the court, many times the innocent are found guilty. Be glad your momther is your best friend because many young people don't have a mother like yours. All in all, that was a job well done. ~Marian.
