I can't really read this very well because of the such light background for the text. I'd suggest making it a little bit more white, and less transparent.
But I really did enjoy this.

It's nice to see such a jolly Christmas story, :P
Seriously though, I really like this. The description of the wine bottles in the opening was brilliant, and the bittersweetness of the piece worked really well. You've captured the loneliness of the character fantastically.

My laptop has a fancy display, so I can never really tell what my layouts will look like on other monitors. I made it less transparent, so hopefully future readers don't have the same issue. Glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for the comment!
