Sequel please!!!!!

Beginning of superficial comment: I really think this story isn't headed in a good direction. It seems to have a cycle that seems to have swapped between the prequel and this story. As things go bad for one couple, the other receives good news. I think it would be best if you shook things up a little and didn't essentially re write your first story.

Oh my god, I think I literally cheered that last paragraph a little. Because I've been hoping these two had a chance e the parents they're obviously capable of being, and I always felt odd in the last story how everything was sunshine and rainbows for Gabe and Sophie while fate shit on Jeff and Tori a bit. I hope this pregnancy is a healthy, full term one because they deserve it. I honestly think Sophie's not only depressed but also a bit bipolar as I think the stay-at-home-mom image she had of herself happy looking after Jack and Lily got sent to reality that staying at home with infants is really boring and monotonous. Hell, my own mother was starting to get depressed when I was born and the only way for her to alleviate it was heading back to work. Because some people, like I think Tori, find staying home all day with a baby fulfilling and like doing it all day. Sophie probably isn't that person, she wants to go to work and have a life outside of 'Gabriel Landeskog's wife' and "Jack and Lily's mom', but she thinks with Gabe she has to be the Susie Homemaker type.Sophie is probably doing what Gabe did, drinking and partying, but she's doing it longer as Gabe's reason was "My relationship is focused on diapers and play dates" while that was Sophie's whole world. I also slightly worry that Jack and Lily might unintentionally fall by the wayside a bit, as before all of that parental instinct from Casey and Tori and Jeff's attention was focused on the twins, now you'll see Jeff and Tori focusing on their baby and impending parenthood that the twins attention will decrease a bit. Also there's going to be a hormonal Tori and they will need to be babysat, unless their bringing them to doctor's appointments or ultrasounds. Update soon!

I hope Sophie only has post partum depression because that will go away. I can't recall when she and Gabe got married, was it while she was pregnant?

I think Gabe needs his babies back, maybe Tori should go back to Denver with him and help him get settled in and hire a nanny. It's not right that Gabe should be without his kids.

Something tells me Sophie's bipolar or has some other condition that really needs to be medicated. I'm slightly mad that Jeff thinks Gabe cares more about hockey then his kids, what's really important. I honestly think Sophie has run off far away and is pretending to be a young, single woman, but when she returns I think Jack and Lily will consider Tori mommy, and might even call her that. And while I know Jeff loves the twins but I think this has gotten to the point that Jeff is treating Jack and Lily as a replacement for the paternal instinct he still has from Casey, and almost doesn't want Gabe to come back often so he can live in a fantasy and regard the twins as his own kids. I think the jealousy Tori had over Sophie being perfect is kind of like what Gabe and Jeff have right now. Jeff is jealous that he lost his little girl after five months of getting attached and dreaming of someone calling him daddy, while Gabe gets not one but two healthy children to the point I think he's almost glad he's doing the traditional dad things for Jack and Lily's first Christmas. This, in his mind, is karma trying to make up for taking Casey, and he might almost see it as "my life crumbled and you got a happy ending so now it's my turn to be happy while you're miserable." He's letting himself believe the twins are his kids and this is his family, and I think Jeff will still try to act like the dad even with Gabe there. I hope by then end of this Jeff and Tori either have or are expecting a baby because they don't know it but they're kind of trying to act like the twins are Casey and they deserve to be happy with a family without Sophie having to be seemingly certifiably nuts. Maybe she's pregnant when Sophie comes back to show her how much life has changed since she's been gone. Update soon!

Am I the only one who kind of is hoping that Tori will get pregnant and have a healthy, full term baby? Because I think as Sophie and Gabe's perfect family is crumbling the idea of Jeff and Tori's beginning would be a nice contrast. I honestly think something is psychologically wrong with Sophie if she doesn't come home, maybe having to do with all the expectations she's had thrust on her rapidly- be a perfect daughter, sister, wife, mom, and whatever else she does like being leader of the Avalanche WAGs as the captain's wife. I think that Jack and Lily will be having an extended stay at Tori and Jeff's mainly because if Sophie's still MIA, it'd be insanely hard for Gabe to take care of the twins while on the road. Maybe Jack and Lily will be more of Tori and Jeff practicing their parenting skills if Tori gets pregnant, because I don't think the whole 'make babies' thing was completely joking. I honestly think Tori wants to get pregnant and repair the hole in her and Jeff's heart left by Casey and everything having to do with the miscarriage just because of how she's seeing Jeff with the twins and mentioned how the twins should of had an older cousin with them right now - Casey. Because if Sophie finally comes back after God knows how long and sees that Jack and Lily barely remember her and sees, for example, them regard a heavily pregnant Tori as their pseudo mom and Jeff almost as a second dad she might finally realize she has to be the adult here, which means not running away from the world when she's upset. Oh my goodness!! I never thought Sophie would leave him and he must be worried sick about the babies at least and hopefully Sophie too!
