I really like the set of tone of the story. The flow of the narrator/writing style of the story is really well done. Makes me feel like I'm opening up an 1800's gothic novel. I love it.

Oh Trist, you've kept your word about writing a vampire story. And here it is! Your flair for writing is wonderful as usual, but reading this piece kept reminding myself of Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist. Not in the sense of the story plot, but the choice of words used and such. Honestly speaking, I had difficulty trying to decipher some parts of the story because I can't understand the imagery you're trying to imply. However, it's not like I didn't understand everything; only certain parts. I apologise for giving you such lousy feedback.

This story is just so well-written and described, it's just perfect. It's also kind of eerie. It gave me goosebumps. I hope you add more soon.
