My thoughts are:
1) Poor Josh. He's annoyed me with switching from gentle and careful Josh to crazy, controlling Josh; but I do understand how love can make one blind and even psychotic.
2) Poor Chris. I had less sympathy for him when he was busy being a possessive, jealous jerk; but now that his warmer side is peeking through, I'm almost back to rooting for Christopher. He's been looking for love for well over 500 years, and he's just desperately trying to hold onto the person made specifically for him. Which brings another thought to mind. If vampires have only one soul mate and if Samantha is made for Chris only, could the group spend the time finding Josh's soulmate to make it easier for him to let his love for Sam go?
3) Sam, this is all your fault. Still, I hope you don't die.
I'll wrap up the comment here, and I can't wait for the next installment!
