I like this story in the sense that it is a true story, however I think that it would be so much better if you put in more emotion and detail.
While that may not be easy to do, I think it would take this story above and beyond anything fictional, because I'm fairly positive there are many readers and authors on here who have experienced this types of things.
Overall though right now it's alright, but with a bit more details and information I think it would be excellent.
