Exactly. I know people can and do have sex without getting emotional or attached but I would hope that her expectations and his align in what they want out of this relationship. Or at least where they hope to end up. Losing one's virginity doesn't have to be a big deal but really, if it wasn't important to her, it would have been gone long before. Lets be honest; damn near any woman under the age of, I dunno, 30 or so, can find a willing bed partner with a minimum of effort thanks to things like Craigslist. Or a nightclub. So if she'd wanted to be rid of it, it would have been gone years before.

It doesn't have to be a forever relationship. She doesn't need to want it to be a forever relationship, although I'm sure that would be nice. But she should know and feel like it's an important relationship to both her and to him. YEah, he could lie to her but for her sake, I think she needs to ask. She needs to know she's not making the decision lightly and that he will respect her in the morning. And that he wants to be with her not because she's untouched.

All I know is that I'm glad I'm in a long-term exclusive relationship. I would not do well in the world of hooking up.

GIRL, I love you. This response was perfect! It's true. There are people out there that are just in it to say that they "got" a virgin. I'm not saying James is like that, but with this story I have to look at it from all angles. Sienna is a grown woman who is perfectly capable of making her own decisions, but if one hasn't experienced casual sex before it could really hurt her in the future.

well, IMO, I think that they should be exclusive. It would suck to give your virginity to someone who might choose to sleep with someone else the next day because you're not in a relationship. People who don't do casual sex shouldn't have sex casually. If she doesn't sleep around she would feel better to define the relationship first. I think that she'd regret not knowing if he's just in it to take her virginity (and there are assholes like that out there) or if he wants something further from her. And if he gets upset about committing to a relationship, well, she'll have narrowly escaped giving herself to someone who doesn't respect it for the the gift it is.

I'm thinking she will, that she's just a bunch of nerves. I probably would be too if I was in that situation. And I do think he'll stay; he's too good of a guys.

Oh my god, this is killing me, never mind James. I love this so much, I hope she does and dosen't wait for different reasons. Can't wait for the next update :D

Haven't had the chance to comment on this story yet, but I really love it.

James and Sienna honestly have a really cute relationship and they just seem so comfortable around each other, despite the fact that James is having a hard time with the whole virginity thing. I really do think he's going to wait for her though, he doesn't seem like the type of guy who would just sleep with other women because his girlfriend isn't ready to have sex yet. I also think it's very brave of Sienna to admit something like that to James, someone who is definitely experienced in that department lol. I don't think they're going to have sex anytime soon, but idk, they might end up having "sexy time" (whatever that means LOL). I hope when they do end up having sex Sienna doesn't feel pressured or anything because that would be awful :\
