People are so mean nowadays. Can't even begin to describe how many unfinished fics I would love to finish, but don't because I'm not in charge of how the author wanted it to turn out, so just leave it, or how many fics I would like to take the plot and write it my way because I think it'd be fun. But it doesn't mean I would actually ever do that. But at least that person told you, I guess, and didn't just do it anyways! Also, can't imagine someone finishing one of my fics for me (I had to take a pretty long break in the middle of a few of mine for personal issues, and yeah I lost readers, but the ones who stuck around are fucking rad.) The person who said that is rude, because your update pretty fucking often, and I'm always really pleased with them. Glad you have a backbone and said no, because your writing is fabulous and I love this fic to pieces.

Don't let stuff like that get to you. You take your time and do things how you want. I would wait for a long time for an update on this, simply because I enjoy reading it. And don't worry about the length of your chapters, I think they are perfect.
With all of that said, I hope you are alright and you can get better..

I can't believe people how could someone do that. If people don't like your updates then they need to stop reading and go find another fic. That is just disrespectful to you and to other authors.

I've personally waited a year between updates once or twice and I still stick with the fic. We can't control our lives.

Authors don't just write for us, they write for themselves too as an escape. And we have lives too, our fics are not our lives. We are just normal people who happened to write fics about ATL.

Wow...as an author, I feel offended that someone would ask you that. We work hard on our stuff and everyone has crap that happens in life. I love this fic and I really wouldn't want someone else to write it. No offense but they wouldn't do it right because only you know your characters and how they are supposed to act. Don't let people get you down. I like your updates and who cares how long they take. Keep it up! We're here for you.

I seriously cannot believe that someone was disrespectful enough to go behind your back and ask someone else to write your story! That is so unbelievably rude!! I for one love this story and I think the idea is really, really, original...why wouldn't you and you alone want to be the one to finish it. You've previously said you're going through some things and that should be enough of an explanation as to why you can't update frequently. I actually don't have any issues with how often you update, I find that when I get the email saying you've updated I'm more excited to read it because there hasn't been updates every single day!

You shouldn't have had to explain yourself further or explain why you can't update! You're human, you have a life and you're going through a tough patch! The last thing you need is for someone to go and insult you like that! You can't spend you're entire life constantly writing...I understand where you're coming from as I went through some tough times and went months without waiting and my readers who wanted to stick around and wait did. Some writers go months and months without updating and they still have readers!

I'm sorry of this seems so rambling but I'm actually in disbelief that this happened to you and props to you to standing up for yourself!! You have an amazing story that's original and it's amazingly written. I know I can't wait to see how it turns out, regardless of how long I have to wait to find out!

I hope you do realise that you do have people who really, really lie this story and you only need to look at the number of comments and recommendations this story has got! I hope that that person doesn't knock your confidence. Don't let one person and their opinions get you down!

I'm sorry for the long comment and I really hope things start to look up for you in your life! I can't wait to read the next update and don't put yourself under pressure to get it out! The update will happen when it happens!

I actually feel really bad for you right now. I can't believe that somebody would have the nerve to say that to you when it's your story and you take time out of your schedule to update it and write it. The updates are perfect and they're never too short. You're doing an absolutely amazing job with this fic <3

Slow updates are fine, it's more important that you do what you need to do to feel better, and given a bit of time, I'm sure you will :-). That being said, this fic is adorable and written really well, I love it!
