I've always thought about it, and tried to decipher it, and have come up with nothing. That would have been a perfect question to ask Patrick when I met him a few years ago. DAMMIT.

This chapter was absolutely perfect. Gerard and Pete's discussion at the beginning was clarity that both of them needed, Frank telling Gerard that he loves Pete- but as a friend, not in the same way that he loves Gerard... that was what I think we all needed.

Mikey and Gerard bonding time was what we all needed too!!! It's about time that Gerard paid attention to his little brother. It was gorgeous.

And then Pete and Mikey. I love them so much. I appreciate how you wrote that scene in the diner, so much. Like, you made Mikey brave, to kiss Pete though he feels a certain way for Frank; and the conversation that followed... how Mikey is so brave. That's all he needed to hear! Keeping feelings all bottled up is so hard and will keep you suffocating and choking when all you want is to breathe. Communication is key and if you never try for something, you never will get it, no matter what the outcome may be. So... I feel that all is right in the worlds of all of these boys, ESPECIALLY down in the basement in Gerard's room, where Frank is on top of him, curing every one of both of their insecurities.
