"He remembered when the ground was covered in a wet green thing named grass,"

I love that line. It gives the sense that he has to remember something we see everyday and may take for granted.

I loved the fact that you called mother nature a her...

Have you ever read "The Giver" this gives me that feel...

You seem to have put a lot of thought into what would happen if there was no more water and I have to agree with you. Pretty awesome and sad look at it.

This is beautiful, seriously. The whole idea of it is really sad and depressing, but it does prove the point that we only have one earth and what we're doing to it with the likes of global warming and fossil fuels could ultimately end up with this; the last man on earth reminiscing about times past. Your description is absolutely breathtaking, like someone below said, I can picture everything in my head perfectly; the last man lying on the barren landscape to die. I couldn't see any issues with grammar either, so I have nothing to critique.

Long story short, I love this. Good job!

Wow. That was really a strong flow of words. The earth(I'd rather not call it Mother Nature) is for us to live and we should take care of it. And wow, that was really a gruesome way to die.

The last man on earth mentioned God before he died... Maybe he'll be one of the men in heaven? He really should have prayed with his last breaths as well.

This was breathtaking, and very chilling at the same time. The description in this whole piece was just astounding, and really painted a picture in my mind (which is what imagery should do). Anyway, I just really loved this, especially the ending. Oh goodness, it was so depressing. But the whole back story behind why he is the last man on Earth was really interesting, and I'm glad you added it within the piece. Like I said before, this was amazing and I loved it!
