I recognize this is a fanfiction, though I don't know the people or references, but I adore this story.

In your author's note I see that this was an emotional story for you to write, and I believe it because I was teary up as I read it. It was so intimately written with the beautiful, loving, and longing relationships that I felt for every single character, so kudos to you for pulling that off to a reader who has no idea the fandom it's written about.

If I had to give a constructive comment about anything at all, the only thing I could say is that it's better to show and not tell. Yes, it's hard to do that with a one-shot, but you can do a lot by showing the past rather than telling it.

Other than that, I adored this story and it's emotional rollercoaster that it took me on. You really know how to pull at a reader's heart with your plot and words, love <3 keep up the amazing work!

Aww this is so sad. Poor Emma, losing both her parents at such a young age and poor Zacky for losing not one, but two of his best friends :'( It's very sweet of Zacky to take care of Emma for them.Grrr, it was really messed up for that little boy to make fun of her about her parents, just smh. People are mean. Of course then came the time for her to ask questions about them. He explained it very well.

"Uncle Matty, said that Daddy and Mommy are with Uncle Jimmy. Does that mean Uncle Jimmy is an angel too?"

    "Yeah, he is Em."

"Even if he chases the poor duckies and scares them?" Her eyes widened in shock. He chuckled and kisses the top of her head.

"Yes, even though he chases the poor ducks. I'm sure your daddy is making sure your Uncle Jimmy doesn't get into too much trouble."

This made me smile and laugh. I bet Jimmy is still chasing stallion ducks in the afterlife.

"I promise, let's go home. I can show you pictures of them." He said before noticing her stare at something behind him. He turned his head and saw nothing before shrugging it off and getting back into the car.

Right when I read this, I knew she had seen him.

I loved the ending with Brian and Stephanie. This was a really great one shot with lots of emotion. Congratulations on getting fourth place :D

Wow...just wow. I don't think I have any other words for it , it was just that amazing! Very emotional- God you nearly had me in tears there! Just the moment when she was asking Zacky about her parents and they talked to the angels and then at the end with Brian- that was funny- it was all so wonderful! Good job!
