You Are My Life Now - Comments

I just sat down and re-read All Along and this, and I fell in love with them all over again! You're such a good writer, you make me feel emotions so much! Haha. Probably going to end up re-reading these two again at some point, too. XD

You know what's funny? In the first book, you said something about Matt being "Brian sexual" in the sense that he's not attracted to other men, just Brian. And that's how I feel about this story. To be honest, I've never been a Bratt fan and when I stumbled across All Along, I didn't know it was a slash at first. But I figured I'd give it a chance anyway because it was being rec'd like crazy and as it turns out... I absolutely fell in love with these characters. Every time they fought, my heart ached and every time they made up, I was squealing in excitement and gushing over how perfect they were. And that's so weird for me because like I said, I've never been into this pairing. You're incredible. The way you write, it's so fluid with just the right amount of detail without over doing it or leaving things too vague. That's so hard to find!

I'm beyond thrilled that they worked it out by the end. And Owen being a girl, that's a first haha. Usually when authors write babies into their fanfics and name them after Jimmy, they're boys of course. She fit so perfectly into the story and after she came along, that's when I really started to get emotionally invested. I was in tears and physically hurting for Matt when Brian checked out and left him alone before the baby came. Ugh. I wish I had found this sooner so I could've commented on each chapter but all in all, this was amazing and after spending a full week reading these stories back to back, I feel empty now that it's over. And you ended it with one hell of a cliffhanger! I wanna know what Matt's reaction is. :(

I'll probably go back and re-read this whole thing. I love doing that with my favorite stories, reliving everything knowing what's in store for the end. Gives you a whole new perspective on things. Anyway, I'm so glad you posted this! I wouldn't consider myself a Bratt fan now, but if you plan to write anymore stories with these two, I'll definitely be on the look out. Job well done!

First off I don't usually read band slash fics, but this story (and the prequel) was incredible. It had so many twists and turns that I couldn't stop reading! The way you portrayed the characters, their personalities and relationships, was flawless. They really came to life and developed as the story went on. I fell in love with Matt and Brian. Their relationship wasn't a cliche in any sense of the word, but their characters fit so well together and I really felt for them every time their relationship messed up! You did an amazing job with this, you write so well and I really hope there is another installment to Matt and Brian, because I need more of this haha!

The loved the Q & A :D I'm happy about the snapshots :D I can't wait :D and I can't wait for more Bratt :D

I have a question for Matt & Brian: To somehow capture what you mean to each other or maybe describe how you've managed to get where you are now, how would you fill in this sentence... "I am/was ... And he is ..."

Brian getting all emotional over his beautiful baby girl turning one is potentially the sweetest thing I have ever imagined!

The Mac Attack.. She is one determined young lady! Love her to bits! I would be disappointed if she stopped being her amazingly persistent self!

I love that Arin is still a BIG part of their lives.. And that their (his and Matt's) bond has gotten stronger, that they confide in each other! Arin's going to be a dad! :) And Matt already wants to turn his daughter into a cougar! Hahaha!

I'm torn about them slamming the door in Owen's face. I'm glad they had the decency to shield her innocent eyes but they made her cry :( I died a little inside! And yet, they adapted, creating time and boundaries.. Good boys!

I like that they are going to raise her the way they were. She won't be spoilt, she'll learn the value of things she possesses :)
