Zayn in water? Isn't he afraid of it because he can't swim? I kept thinking of that so it was quite interesting to see him so natural and confident in the ocean as a surf instructor. I liked that aspect of his character a lot since it was something I'm not used to seeing as trait for him in stories.

I also liked the slight humour of this. It captured the whole 'awkward teenage girl with a crush' point very nicely and that gave it such a casual feel. It almost felt like this was a blog I could read on here with some parts and I think that just made it so relatable and wonderful.

It was cute and you managed to keep the Hawaiian setting that you chose important without it being the entire focus. You tied it back in nicely with the last line. Overall, it was a lovely little one-shot!

She's from Seattle? Hell yeah! So now if I go to Hawaii I expect to see Zayn ha ha. But this was so cute and adorable and just made my whole day. I loved how short and sweet it was and the title is awesome

This is so simple and cute and it's Zayn and I just...ugh. I love this part:
“What’s your name?” he asked, trying to make small talk.

“Dakota.”

“Where you from?” he smiled.

“Washington.”

“And not from Dakota?” He seemed to enjoy that joke for too long, but I smiled at his giggle.

Despite not knowing Zayn in the least (I wish), I could totally see him saying that. I think my favorite part about this entire story is just how simple it is. It doesn't need to be complex and dramatic, it's cute and fluffy.

Oh my gosh hahha her names Dakota yet she's from Washington and not Dakota hahha! Zayn you funny man, and don't get me started on how attractive you've described him already (As if we don't know)
