very sad and yet sweet at the same time. i'm assuming she killed herself more because of bullying than anything else? mainly because of molly's opening statement and that's something that hits home. very nicely done.

This seriously made me cry. all I could think about was my best friend and what I would feel like if someone ever did anything to her, to make her want to kill herself. You did well with your background information for the most part, I would have liked to know what people did to her to make her kill herself, but hey. That's open to interpretation. Well done.

Judging ends on the 20th. Any contest winners will be further notified by me.

Pick A Photo, Write A Story Contest Comment:

Let me just admit, I didn't expect to cry when reading this story. Halfway through it I was in tears. The title throw me off, I thought this was going to be a happy go story! The writing in this was beautiful though.

"The definition of mourning is the expression of deep sorrow for someone who has died, so why does everyone at school saying that they are mourning over Danielle?"

This couldn't be any true. When a girl from my school died last year I thought the same thing. That connection to real life right there hooked me into this. The suicide note was painful. The way Danielle was telling Molly to remember the good times was heartbreaking.

"I’m sorry it wasn’t enough though."

When I read this line, my heart literally dropped. I was in tears. I had to pause for a second and keep reading. The way you used the picture for the friend's wild night out was perfect! I loved it, just loved it. I was happy until I got to the service and I remembered Daniella had died.

Chris and Molly at the grave was a perfect ending. I could believe that these three had been good friends just by the way you told this story. It was a beautiful story, indeed. Amazing job on making me cry!

Thank you for entering this story into my contest and find out tomorrow or Saturday at the latest if you won!
