1. Narration of Scene [10/10 points] You did a great narrating the scene. Instead of giving this huge back story you jumped into the scene, but gave a flashback to kind of support their expedition. It was great really, you did a great job.
2. Creativity [11/15 points] This was very creative! I never thought that that picture could have led to this idea. I really enjoyed the story. It was nicely paced, with the right amount of information to give it the depth and reality it needed. It has the ability to be even longer.
3. Layout [13/15 points] The layout is great! It's simple, it matches, it's legible, and the image is in the layout! Although it's not the most creative, its still very good and very nice. Easy on the eyes, and not a hot mess which I am thankful for you have no idea.
4. Characterization & Description [25/30 points] The characterization was nice, it was woven into the story carefully. Like the bit about her enjoying the breeze on the back deck with a book. And the bit about her sister making up her mind. Its small details but they add to the character. You described this pathway very nicely too, I can imagine it in my mind exactly what it looks like and its refreshing that you didn't rely on the picture to describe where they are.
5. Grammar & Punctuation [30/35 points] From what I can see your grammar and punctuation is very good. The one thing I noticed: "Lizzie wasn't even sure they'd be able to find what they were looking for it had been so long." I think there should be a comma before it had been.
""I thought it would have got thrown out years ago,"" for this sentence you can go either way with "I thought it would have GOTTEN..." or "I thought it would have BEEN..."
