I loved the spiritual side of Gerard in this. And I loved that little interaction between he and Frank. And I adored the fucking flatline because you followed it up with the note that let us know it was merely for dramatic effect and Frank is in fact not going to die. DAMN. ugh, that chapter was utterly perfect. My heart broke a little at the beginning, then you sewed it back up right there at the end and it was truly just so perfect. For two people who have never been in love before, and for someone like Gerard who has no experience with the situation of being in love... you mastered that chapter and I can't wait to see what happens next. <3
