Hello there,
New reader here. I promise I'm not one of those annoying silent readers that just reads and never comments. I just found this story a little over a week ago, or well, this and it's prequel, and well... I will admit that I waited to comment until I read it all, but only so I could give it a fair review and I just found it pointless to comment continually. So this will just be a review all wrapped into one comment of the story so far; the prequel and the now sequel.
First of all, I'm going to go back to the fact that I just found this last week and have already caught up with it, because, this past week was my first week back at college, and well, to say that I was actually able to read all of this is saying something, with the hectic scheduling that is the college life. OMG, so if that doesn't tell you how much I love this story, I shall divulge(sp?) in it a bit more.
First of all, thank you so much for writing a story that's like, FACTUAL, mainly in reference to all the ATL-related things. I have come across so many stories on here that just can't get the damn facts right when it relates to them as people and it's just been like, COME ON. Do a little research, especially if they're going to be in your story. And thank goodness, your story proves that you did or you just somehow knew about them, whether it's been because you've been a fan of theirs, a hustler ;), or just some other reasoning. So I thank you for keeping it right because it just annoys me and I find it kind of awkward when it's just not.
Moving on, I love that this is an OC and Alex, not like, Jalex. I support Jalex as a bromance but I'd really rather not read a story about them romantically, and that's all I seem to come across on here when I search Alex Gaskarth. There have been a few exceptions and yours happens to be one of them, so thank you for giving me a story I was actually interested in reading.
Now, onto the plot... this I found unique and have actually thought about writing a story with a similar plot, as in the fact his love interest is in a fellow band they go on tour with. Yours is totally different though because you made him and Caroline have a past and then Caroline isn't like, the lead singer, but a bass player which I totally have respect for.
Another thing unique about this plot is that Caroline got PREGNANT. This is the first AG story I've seen where this has happened. Probably because a lot of people wouldn't know how to approach it, especially considering Alex in real life because like you said at one point during the prequel, he's basically still a kid in an adult body, lol, with his obsessions of Neverland and Peter Pan and all the space stuff he's into. But I must say your approach has been pretty good and I have no complaints about it. I can imagine initially it was probably a hard task to think of, writing-wise. But you've done a stellar job of it.
What else, what else, what else... hm, going back into the facts thing, but also going into what I would call writing patience, the fact that you remembered to mention all of ATL's crew and gave Caroline's band a crew of her own... whew! That is definitely a lot of names to remember and I admire you for pulling that off, let alone, you also added the families in so oh my gosh, I seriously don't know how you've managed to keep all the names straight. Like, I get confused myself, as a reader, trying to remember everyone and putting the names to faces, but you... like, remembering to include everyone at different points and all must have been quite challenging. I myself would have forgotten half of them by now.
Anyway, I think that's about it... for a general overview of the whole series so far... if I got into more specifics this comment would just go on forever... more so than it already is. XD
I've noticed you haven't updated in a while and I hope this comment in some way motivates you to start writing for the story again. I'm sorry I wasn't here at the beginning; I definitely would have commented after every chapter to give you motivation. But I've just recently joined the ATL fandom, so, that explains my absence.
I really can't wait for more of this. I hope that it continues, but if not, I can understand not having writing motivation. I have given up on more stories than I have ever finished so I can totally understand.
But I'll be here, I believe. Trying to balance Mibba and college life so we'll see how it goes but I'll try my best. If you update again, at most give me a week to read and comment again. I'm sure it won't take longer than that. :)

Sorry it took so long to comment. I've been sick and am just now starting to feel better, ergo, why I'm just now reading.
But I like, I like. It's definitely a different approach than before, it being set more in the future. But I can't wait to see where you take it. I find it interesting that they have two kids now, not just one. Awww... :)
Can't wait to see what all you have in store. It seems like tensions are high... hmmm... I hope they're able to work things out.
