My days start to become a slowly punctuated rhythm, barely conscious as I repeat the tasks from yesterday. Walk to the café, set up and put on uniform, bitch about Jared with Karen, Gerard enters the café with his sketchpad, get shouted at for staring at ‘nothing’, Gerard leaves with a finished picture and an empty coffee cup, I leave at the end of my shift curious and empty. Walk to café. Set up. Uniform. Bitch. Gerard enters. Shouting. Gerard leaves. I leave. Walk. Set up. Uniform. Bitch. Gerard. Shouting. Gerard. Leave. I love this paragraph! Very effective, and I like the ending sentence-y bit. :D

“Wow, Gerard looks lonely over there. He could use a new friend,” “Will you take this cup of coffee over to Gerard’s table?” and, her favourite, “Stop staring and go talk to him, for Christ’s sake!”

You use great decription, which I really like - the reader can get a really clear image in their mind
I LOVE the song Frank was playing! SP rule :D
And it fit the chapter perfectly.
The ending was so sweet
