Aww shy Gerard is cute I agree :D This piece of paranoid thinking is honestly like me "But that was when I sent him crashing to the ground... oh God; he was just saying it to get rid of me!" I think it's really great and it gets inside the kind of panic he was proberley thinking ..so nice one.
The nervousness is really well shown I'm glad they get past it !Gerard starting to open up yay! I want to yell at Frank that he more than likes Gerard .....I don't think he'd hear me so I'll tell you instead.

Wow that was a really good chapter =] I want to know what Gerards worried it will be like ! But I'm guessing I won't know till later on in the story *sulks* so you better update fast. Hm, I thought for sure that I commented on the last chapter. Oh well, I guess I didn't.

Mm, I had a hard time to stay interested, like, I found myself skimming through paragraphs to take it all in, but I guess that's just how I read. lol. I did find sometime kind of odd, though...you said, first, that the vodka bottle broke, and then after the message was left he threw the glass in the garbage...then he filled up the vodka bottle with alcohol and gave it to his mom...? I thought it was broken? Or maybe I'm just missing out on a paragraph or something.

Anyways, this is really well written, and I like the atmosphere you have created at the cafe where Frank works. It goes well with the story.
