@ everlark. Wow, oh my goodness, thank you so much! You just made, like, my entire week. Hah.
I'm so glad you liked it! Honestly, I really enjoyed writing it. So many people write Death Eater stories, and they're like, falling in love with Malfoy but trying to get to the right side with the Order and stuff, and I didn't really want to do that.
I thought Barty had an interesting story to begin with, his dad being in the Ministry and his Mom loving him so much to switch places with him and all, but we don't get to go much deeper than that, and I just kind of really wanted to.
It's actually pretty easy to write them as, like, normal people. We know that Death Eaters are bad and use Unforgivables and all, but in doing so, they're doing what they think is right, following their own set of beliefs, just like any religion.
So, it was a fun little experiment, and I'm really happy with how it turned out, even if it's a bit tragic. I'm just so glad you like it and decided to tell me! Just thanks so much! Wow.
This was absolutely amazing! You've taken a character and twisted his story in a way that has made me actually feel a little sorry for him. I felt awful when Nona died, too, because you'd written her and Bary's love story so wonderfully that I forgot how horrible J.K. Rowling had written him to be.
You're so incredibly talented. Honestly, this is one of the best Hogwarts stories that I've read. The fact that it's not about a main character makes it even better. It was so well written, too! I don't think I saw any typo's at all, and your grammar is excellent.
This has become one of my favorite stories. I'm not sure if you're going to add another chapter, but either way, if you do or don't, this is beautiful.
