I'm a little late, well okay a lot late. But this is utter perfection.

This is amazing. I love how you incorporated the lyrics into the story, it didn't seem like they were out of place at all, and I had the song running through my mind as I read the story.
The way that he remembered and all the little tales were so cute, and I was drawn into it. The field was around me, and I could clearly picture them laying there. Your descriptions are fantastic.
There were no spelling mistakes, just a few tiny grammar errors. (You also left out either "he" or "Vic" near the end of the story)
The layout doesn't take anything away from the story and gives it a very soothing tone.
I love this piece to bits.
