I love the layout. So simple, yet so lovely. Maybe it's the guy in the banner, I don't know. Either way, I like it.
You start off with such a simple sentence, and I love that. It drew me right in, especially with the description that you use afterwards (I loved the descriptions of his tattoos!), you really paint a vivid picture. I love the little interaction you have between Blair and Taylor with the cigarettes, it definitely seems very realistic. The repetition of the sexy smirk really is quite interesting, it almost gives the piece a sense of a repeating cycle, a common factor linking all of the littered memories together. I also love how you can see the changes in their relationship as you read further and further in. It seems cute at first, but as you read more and more into it, it does seem like a massively one-sided relationship. The ending is kind of heart-wrenching as well, but I love how you tie the title into the end, I really do.
I'll be announcing the winners of the contest later on tonight, so good luck!
Wow, this blew me away. Beautifully written and hard to shake; that's what I love about oneshots. This takes the cake :) I kept reading it falling more in love with Blair and Taylor's story with every carefully chosen word. Then as abruptly but unassuming as it began it came to an end. Fantastic job, you really are a natural writer!
