Dude, I love you for having posted this story. Like, seriously; this is gold, and I don't know how I never stumbled upon this before! This is pure genius!

I really loved the development between the chapters. I have to admit that during the first chapter, I was thinking that Matt was going to be some kind of gang person, the way he was acting. Even with the little apology and all of that, I was so sure he was in the mob or something. I should have seen it! Especially with the staring and everything -- that's totally surveillance. And speaking of that whole scenario; I'm usually not really a fan of flashbacks or anything, but I really enjoyed that one! I thought you did a fantastic job of including it in the chapter (and thank you so much for not making it all painfully italicized!). But yeah, I thought it flowed really well!

The second chapter was cute! Obviously I couldn't help but love the steamy bits (who can blame me?), but I was freaking out when Cole appeared! I have to admit, I was at first thinking he was going to be some kind of abusive boyfriend or abusive-sleazy friend of her father, and I seriously cannot explain how thrilled I was when I figured out that I was wrong. Seriously; thank you for having a character that she doesn't get along with, and that is clearly a jack ass, without actually being crazy rapist or anything. Thank you for not making me pity the main character; I hate that. xD

I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT ENDING. Seriously! I already told you that I wasn't expecting him to be an undercover cop! I mean, when you said he was a cop and was really tense, I was totally expecting him to be a dirty cop--possibly an associate of her father or possibly a rival. I didn't know, but I sure as hell was not expecting the undercover cop role! I LOVE IT. Seriously, it's brilliant! (I need to stop saying seriously.) I really enjoyed it though, and I think it as a magnificent twist.

That said, I thought his boss was an asshole. I mean, seriously shit sorry. I fucking hate that guy. Was it necessary for him to gloat like that? Really? I would have found him much cooler had he not been a complete prick, but just made some kind of "Oh, you want to thank the man that's getting credit for catching you? Say hello, Officer Sanders!" Like, that's still a slap in the face to her, but it's not being a complete dick and berating her for buying into the trap. And, I mean, her and Matt having a conversation like that in the middle of the raid was pretty weird... I wish it had gone down that way instead.

BUT, that said, I still loved the ending, it was a complete twist I hadn't been expecting, and I'm definitely hopping over to read the sequel. Thank you for posting this! You're awesome! :D

I did not expect that at all. This was a good ending to it and I absolutely can not wait to read what you have in mind for the sequel. I did not think Matt would have been an undercover cop. I was thinking he was a part of the work Isabelle's father is in. You did a marvelous job with this story and your twists. I hope that you update the sequel soon.

this story was amazing. the ending hit me right in the feels, damn i almost shed a tear myself. cant wait to read the sequel.

First of all, I love how you described Matt as such a teddy bear in this story. I can picture him to be like this very easily, and I really love it. The two of them together especially. You got me to ship them instantly, haha. They're so cute. :)
I love the way you describe their relationship and I also found the little flashback to when they met really nice to the story, but also really cute in general.
Your writing as well. You know which words to use when to make the story flow, and you make it very easy to imagine everything with the details you give. But I still kind of feel like there were a few parts where you put the details to the wrong aspects, while there were others that could have been explained a bit further.

Other than that, I really like this a lot though. I can't wait to find out what shit drama you're preparing us for. I have a feeling shit's gonna go down, maybe as soon as she meets her father again. Please update soon! :)

I am so very intrigued and I can not wait to read what happens next in the upcoming chapter and sequel. I have a bad feeling about Matt and I believe her father is somehow involved in it. I hope that you update again very soon. I love your work and we all go through what you are feeling now. All you need to do is continue writing.
