So I don't know anything about the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy but going from just the first chapter - or, the foreword as it's called! - I find it really imaginative! I really like how you made this Zaphod character start off really casual with the whole "Hey there citizen" line before launching into a paragraph that just describes the book in such great terms and description before reverting back to casual speech with the line "Or something, man!"

It's really quite genius to me and it really sets a good impression of what is to come of this story. I don't know whether you're planning on the other chapters being like the first one, but no matter whether it is or not, I'm sure it'll turn out brilliant judging from the start!

I'm not familiar with the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but I'm thinking you've got a great start on this. I liked the summary and I enjoyed reading the first chapter! I really like the way that it's written-- between the summary and the first chapter you can really tell that the narrative is written by two different people. It sounds like this will be a fun read if you plan to continue it!

Wow, that was really short o.o It surprised me xD Over all though, I think you did a good job with it :) I really liked the one italicized paragraph. It was funny how it goes from very informal to extremely formal with a lot of descriptive words. Good job ^-^
