This was just like... like... I don't think any word would be enough to describe it. I really liked the repetition of the words in there, and this part:
And I tell him, I tell him; “I couldn’t see you.”
Made shivers run down my spine even though I'm all cozied up in a blanket. I guess it struck a chord with me since I have bad eyesight and a fear of growing blind.
