I really liked the mixture of romance and adventure in this story! I figured there would be romance in it because of the whole Soulmate aspect, but there was a few different potential romantic interests which made it exciting, to see who Melina would end up with. There was little bits of action in every chapter, which made it really exciting to read. I felt like it paced the story really well, so even though the chapters were short, it didn't feel like things were rushed.
I liked how you built up the world, as well. The bits about genetic engineering and what not were really cool, I thought it was so interesting that it sort of just started adapting to the human body. And that fact really made sense of how Melina and Brian felt so attracted to the men they thought were trying to kill them.
The only thing I wanted to mention was that there were quite a few grammatical errors, which started taking away from the story a bit. I would just suggest reading through the chapters and picking them out to polish it up a bit.
Overall, I thought this was a great take on the prompt. Great job!
