I was wondering when Joe was gonna come into the picture! so glad to see him in this chapter except for him being an asshole! wtf! I totally wasn't expecting that. I really hope we find out soon what exactly he thinks Videl did back then.

I'm glad to hear you're doing okay! I know what you mean with not needing fob as a security blanket anymore; that's exactly how I feel, especially when it comes to my own stories. they're still my favorite band and they're very dear to my heart, but my life doesn't have to revolve around them like it used to. it's nice to see you update again by the way Arms

It took me forever to actually get on my laptop after I got the email that this story was updated. But I'm here now! Okay, I'm surprised at the way Videl acted upon seeing Pete. I kind of expected her to keep her cool even though she hasn't seen Pete in a million years. I was glad that she didn't keep her cool, surprisingly. It was something unexpected and I love when you write the most unpredictable things. I appreciate the fact that Pete really remembers Videl and that he doesn't treat her like some piece of crap that sank into the sewer of lost loves a long time ago. I'm glad that Videl acknowledges their childhood and doesn't try and hide it like it never happened. And I'm really glad that he remembers their childhood, too! Anyways, I'm anticipating the next chapters and I hope to learn more about Pete and Videl's past a little bit more.

Before he’d coined and minted it, and started using it as his currency, it seemed.

Okay I guess my new thing is picking out the best one-liners from each chapter because seriously, you make me stop and re-read them over and over again, marveling at how clever they are and then I'm like, damn, why couldn't I come up with that myself?

Anyway I'm glad Pete inferred that he remembers Videl from his childhood and that she's gonna (hopefully) go get the truth from him at his party. Hopefully things don't get crazy like they did at the last party... Surprised

OMG DUDE I LOVE YOU. thank you so much for saying that, and for that comment, I was smiling so big. I was so worried about this chapter, sometimes I feel like I can write so much better inside Pete's head, but explaining him from an outside point of view is so hard, cause to me he's just baffling. (in the best way). so I'm really glad it seemed authentic :) thank you so much again. that made my night! Mr. Green

and yeah I was thinkin of Han Solo for that part. seemed appropriate lol.

YAAASSSS YOU CAPTURED PETE PERFECTLY omg just everything about this chapter drew me in and had me smiling like an idiot, I swear. Young asshole Pete is the worst but also my favorite because he's so fun to write and especially to read how others depict him. And you, my friend, depicted him wonderfully. His entrance and exit were spectacular and that banter was just A+. And The Rolling Stones, oh my god, that is SO Pete. I don't even know how to explain it, I was just waiting for the buildup until him and Videl would finally meet and converse and you did not disappoint.

"I knew this play, I’d seen it, been in it so many times, yet I felt like I couldn’t remember my lines."

The whole description of their encounter was sooo good. The imagery was so fleshed out that it painted such a clear picture of everything in my mind; his smirk, her bewilderment, the cigarette between his lips, just everything. So perfect.

“You’re Pete Wentz,” I croaked without thinking.

    He smiled. “I know.”

HANDS DOWN MY FAVORITE PART. THAT IS SOME HAN SOLO SHIT RIGHT THERE I LOVE IT JESUS CHRIST SABRINA YER KILLIN' ME

I love how you're giving us sneaky teasers of Pete. That chapter ending was hella awesome. I love how manic Pete is in this--he's like cranked all the way up, full-metal mental Pete. I'm into it. Cool
