I know right. I tried to make his excuses genuine lol :( seems I failed aha. But yeah you are actually on the right track. I want to keep how he gets his money a mystery for as long as I can but you are totally. Completely.

I believe that Misty should not trust James at all. He's too nice. Too generous. Too....perfect. And people don't just do that for no good reason. He wants something.
Plus, where did all his money come from??? It's obvious that he didn't win the lottery or inherit his Grandpa's money. So my theory is that he gets his money from the kids. I'm not sure how yet though.

Thank you so much. I noticed my stories are best when I write about realistic characters and in first person. It's good to know that you like it though, means a lot. It really does.
