Thank you so much!! I'm glad youre enjoying this story! I haven't really gotten into how Dave and Jessie met, but I'll definitely include it at some point in the story. Still trying to figure out how to incorporate it in. You'll find out Jessie and Jake's back stories soon. :) I will definitely update soon! Subscribe so you can keep up with the updates. first off i just wanna say that i absolutely adore this story! and also i think that maybe Jessie's the shady one and that Jake's her ex that maybe cheated or was involved in something illegal and Jessie got out and met Dave. Or idk maybe Dave's the shady one! but i love Christy's character. And one last thing.. i know many people will disagree with me but i love the idea of Dave and Christy as a couple, idk something about best friends falling in love.. so i'm all for Dave pursuing Christy and fighting for her. but anywhoo update soon!

You're half right. Someone is shady...but you won't know 100% WHO exactly for another few chapters :) hopefully some questions will be answered by then, but form your own opinions on who the TRUE shady character is ;)

I want to like Jake, but I feel like he's shady? Or is Jessie shady? I don't know, just someone is freaking shady, I know that much!

The story's starting to get even more interesting with this Emmett character, I'm guessing there might be a fight in the next chapter between Emmett and Dave (when he gets back from his date) or Jake might turn up suddenly and save Christy, whatever does happen, I hope Emmett doesn't get his way....

chapter 2 was good, didn't expect that near the end... I'm guessing, that Jake might be Jessies' brother that she doesn't get on with and is also a troublemaker. Or, he went out with someone that Jessie knew and didn't treat them good... I like how Dave's, like an older brother to Christy and a committed boyfriend... can't wait to find out what the secret is..... :)

It is incredibly upsetting when the inspiration for writing grows cold, and you and I aren't the only ones ever to experience that. But keep up this lovely story, don't give up! Every story that begins deserves its ending. More chapters please! x

The element of intrigue at the end makes me eager to know what happens next, which is a very clever skill on your part. I'll be waiting for the next chapter, keep it up!
