Adieu, Ms. Hollywood - Comments

A few comments I have about this:
1. You write really well and you put a lot of detail and emotion into this.
2. I love The Maine and have seen them a couple times before :')
3. Something about Brynn irks me, idk why. I think it's cause I just love John O so very much and she seems like she's throwing away a man that loved her unconditionally.
4. You touch very real relationship and real life ideas in this, the love, the fighting, the drugs and alcohol, all these things a lot of people in relationships can relate to.
4. The flashbacks make this story, I loved the 8123 reference! ^.^
5. Hope you keep writing sometime!

I don't like Brynn. Well, let me explain: she seems nice and sweet, but also a person that changes her mind quickly, you know? Maybe because I know their future... The fact is she seems like someone who would choose to break someone's heart instead of ending with hers broke.
I hope someone appears in his life to show him what is to be loved.

PS: I have strong vibes of "500 days of Summer" reading this story. “Boy meets girl. Boy falls in love. Girl doesn’t.” you know? Well, let's see how it goes.

Brynn seems so sweet and perfect for John in the flashbacks so I don't understand how their relationship crumbled. I can't wait to find out what happened though!

I will definitely be missing this story while your figuring it out, but I'm glad you're going to take a nice break to make this story even better (if that's even possible).

I really liked this chapter, although I had to keep reminding myself that they break up and John's heartbroken over her because this chapter made them seem so adorable and John seemed so content with her. I loved it as always, update soon!

aww I loved the 8123 flashback! and the naming of pioneer (if that is why they actually named it pioneer it makes sense to me now ahah) Brynn seems so sweet in the flashbacks and i just wanna know what fucked her up so badly that caused her to do something to fuck up john. I actually really liked this chapter a lot, and i'm excited for another update!

Ugh it just really sucks because in the flashbacks brynn and John just seem so cute and she just seems so nice but in the present it's obvious she's done something not so nice and messed up John. But then again I'm wondering she said everyone always pinned her as the innocent girl and I'm wondering if maybe that's a sorta clue or hint or something that John could've caught that secretly told him maybe she really wasn't as nice and innocent as everyone thought.

i'm sorry it took me so long to comment, I've been at choircamp and today has been the day to catch up on all the fanfics i'm subscribed to (which is kind of a lot ahah) basically I agree with everything state of grace said. and I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT BRYNN DID.

No no no no no, don't consider a hiatus. You got this! You are in control. I have faith in you. You'll find inspiration. Other really peppy, motivation things. But for real, I really love this story it's by far one of the best John story I've ever read so it would suck if you went on a hiatus. That's not to say you should force yourself to write cause that's just ridiculous.

I don't know what I'm saying but I really loved this story. And this chapter definitely shows just how downhill John is going. Just like Kennedy said, he yelled at Micah, I mean that's gotta mean he's in a really awful place. Loved, loved, loved it! Update soon!

I love this story. I feel so, so bad for John though. Whatever Brynn did (which I really want to know!) must have been really bad because John is completely messed up.

i do not like brynn yo. john is a mess right now tbh and it sucks that drinking is what he uses to take away the pain. it also probably sucks for the band having to watch him be this mess. overall yay for an update and can't wait for another one whenever that may be

The whole situation just sucks for everyone involved. Like it sucks for John to be going through such a tough time with heartbreak, it really sucks for his best friends to have to watch him not be himself and try to drink his problems away, and I'm sure it sucks for his family to have to watch their son/brother become such a wreck.

I'm really enjoying this story so far! I love all the emotion and all of the storyline you put into it. Update soon!

This was good. I like the flashbacks because it shows john as the good guy and not the mess he seems to be now because of brynn. excited for another update! :) i wanna know what all happened with brynn and john

hmm so you rewrote this. I was quite confused to say the least when I came looking for the next chapter and then bam rewrite. I understand why though. john seems like a pussy right now though ahahaha hope that changes but overall i like the rewrite. can't wait for chapter 2

this was good! i'm surprised john isn't a total party animal in this, it seems like he is in many others that i've read and it's a nice change. he seems like a sweetheart in this. for some reason micah is my favorite though ahaha. update when you can :)

well since i'm already completely bias ;) this may not mean much but i already love this story. I want to know more about brynn!. and i like how a food fight occurs with a love interest, i can honestly say i haven't read that in a fanfic before. overall, good descriptions and the flow of the story are leaving me wanting more :( update soon! :)

So this is my first time reading a story featuring John O'callaghan. As you can imagine I was a little bit apprehensive before starting, but I actually quite liked this.

I think you have a good plot, and you've written this well. I like your use of language and your description. I spotted a few mistakes grammar wise, but nothing major. I really liked this story, I think you did a great job.
