I liked the way he spoke, words falling over each other, punctuated by laughter and so very, very honest. I liked that he blushed when I threw a punch at Teen Wolf, defended it and proved to me that a show about teenagers struggling with the supernatural chaos being thrown at them could actually be worth watching. I liked that he brought me tea and beer within the same week without expecting anything in return. I liked how he blushed when I drunkenly, indirectly called him cute, I liked how his warm skin felt underneath mine and I liked how he came to my house when I called, even though I didn’t deserve his company.

But I did know that I liked his laugh, the way he never knew what to do with his hands and the way my name sounded when he said it. I liked that he listened and didn’t run away after, not really. I liked having a friend that wasn’t also a coworker or shared my last name. I’d forgotten what it was like.

I was half expecting something more to happen, what with how things were progressing, but I'm a little glad it didn't. They are just adorable together.

I spent the rest of that and the following day watching episodes of the show on my laptop and avoiding my brothers.

You know what he's thinking? That Liv could never blend in. She's just too unique and special for that, and he noticed it right off the bat when he first met her.

I liked the way he looked there, across from me, his dark grey shirt pulling across his broad shoulders. He was quite handsome, in a cute and still boyish way. He looked even younger now, his cheeks slightly flushed. My next words came out without me thinking, really. Just spilled from my lips the way I could feel the drink slipping through me.

After, however, I completely lost my reserve. I didn’t want therapy, like my guidance counselor recommended and offered, because I didn’t want feeling. I wanted the opposite of feeling; I wanted to be completely numb.

But then he kissed me and I ended up making out with Oliver, whose too close to mine name bothered me the next day, until he went off to grab another beer, and I took that as my time to head back home.

It made me different, all soft edges and humming, like a buzzing bee. Usually, I was nothing less than a bite of something bitter, but with a little liquid gold, I was dripping honey.

!!!!!!! I'm glad you're excited oh my gosh. Um it's still in the works right now, but I hope to be posting before Thanksgiving. I originally wanted it to be a oneshot, but it's probably going to turn out into more like a 3-5 chapter short. Also, I know what you mean. I've been looking for a Dylan story and there really haven't been any, which is why I decided to write one. Anyway yeah thanks I'm glad you're excited!!
