No I won't. I promise haha that would just be a terrible mistake. I think so too. Usually my stories are longer but this is so impacted that if I extend it any longer than I plan it would turn out horrible.

20 chapters is a good length, I have to say though.

Martin the wise man. Yeah that would probably end up in a debate how strong headed they both are lol wont be so pretty if they disagree on something.
It's probably going to be a short story 20 chapters or so from my outline so far depending if I come up with something that will stretch it out.

Yes of course! It wouldn't be a proper Ben story without one or his closest friend there it would be a crime haha plus I think Martin can give Ben a little good ol' piece of wisdom.
Yes and I think Martin would do that. He can't baby Ben and expect him to understand without giving it to him straight. Tom and Paty have a little more subtle approach. Of course Tom didnt know how to deal with it since he's not as close to Xi than Paty is.

It will be and with all of his advice thrown her way she was wedged into a corner and made a decision hoping its all the for the best. I am already planning a few things that just popped into my head and oh it's going to be good! Or I hope it is haha

Yayyy! Martin is in this story as well! I'm so happy about that! Let me say that he is a little bottle of wisdom, really.
It's not easy for either of our protagonists. Ben has Martin giving him the cold truth and Xi has both Paty and Tom. Oh my.

I cna't help but feel that Xi made a rash decision under pressure. Leaving her job as Ben's assistant will be very hard for her and for him as well.

She is and the big price of doing so. It's going to wreck her. It will show eventually and she won't be able to proceed if Ben gets a girlfriend or she will feel guilty that he feels like he can't because of her. It will be insane conflicts

It seems wrong to us, but I have seen some women work out of obligation because they have so much respect for their boss. It's old fashion in some concept and in a way Xianghua is and won't twist her feelings with her work or doesn't want to.

Yes, indeed that is true. But she sees work in the wrong way, in my opinion... I mean, the whole concept of obligation bugs me a bit.

It is and she's prideful and highly respects Ben since he is her elder and you know what they act around elders, total respect. She doesn't want to push any boundaries or say or do anything mean. She has an obligation towards him in a way and that's why she is willing to push aside her feelings for this.
That's what I was going to do haha idk what but I'm just going to write anything.

Hmm that part is interesting, given Xi's heritage but I mean... enough is enough in a way.
