The Twins Were No Longer - Comments

This made me want to cry like a baby. I think even people who aren’t fans of Harry Potter would find this emotional to read.
“that’s how it always will be.” This line really got me. His denial of what happened to his brother and how things wont change now his brother is dead.
The list of things that didn’t matter was also extremely powerful. How emotionless George feels about everything that is going on around him is heartbreaking.
“nothing could bring his brother back.” This is so definite, like this is the end of everything and he will never heal. Along with the line “the most important part of himself as well.” Nothing will ever be the same again, the connection they held is gone and George will forever be a broken man.
This really is an amazing piece of writing, simply because of the huge amount of emotion it holds.
