Comment Swap lrd me here. A Sherlock Holmes fic! I'm imagining Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock. :) This is very well written, and Aria seems like a well developed character. Your descriptions and word choices are fantastic, they blend with the time period of the story.

Oh wow, I kinda want Aria to get into it with Lestrade because it definitely seems like there's something more going on there. Can't wait to read more! :)

SO now that I've actually watched the Sherlock series, I'm even more excited for this story to begin :)

i've never gotten into the sherlock tv series (although i really want to) but i have read a couple books and i must say that i'm really enjoying the story you've written here. aria is elusive and mysterious but in a totally believable and not over the top way. i get that there's an air of mystery about her but it's not so much so that i feel like i've missed some crucial plot detail somewhere. i love how you set up the scenes and how you set up the characters. i'm really excited about this and am subscribing to read more soon :)

I haven't watched the series but I was actually watch the movies just the other day and they're some of my favourite movies, thus, I was a little excited to read a Sherlock fanfic. I think you've started this really well, and you've set up the means for a potentially great story. Your layout is nice and simple, but the lettering is a little small for my taste. Your grammar and spelling are great and paragraph spacing makes it so much easier to read as well. I might stick around to see how this story goes :)

I don't watch Sherlock, but this seems interesting. I thought it was weird Aria deals with her old flatmate's advances so nonchalantly when she moved away from her to avoid them in the first place. I do wonder what Aria is trying to hide, and what Sherlock will discover. Your writing is good and kept me wanting to continue reading. Keep it up :)

I have to say, I'm not a great Sherlock fan. But this little chapter has made me think of watching the show more. You're a really talented writer and I hope there's more than one chapter to this piece. Looking forward to more (:
