I know....I should have asked you if I could have used your idea. I just didn't know how to start the book.

Hmm....first couple chapters sound vaguely familiar..............

I was hoping for that too. not the exact way you had planned it to go but ya know, as long as other people like it, I like it.

For real, this story is so similar to what I was imagining for Daryl! I have had this little hope that Daryl had a family before the whole apocalypse started. I always imagined he had a childhood friend named Erin who grew up with him and then they eventually fell in love and had a daughter named Emma but when the apocalypse started he gets separated from them, but then a few years later when daryl and the rest of the gang are at the prison he somehow finds them again. (In my imagination Emma is 6 when they find Daryl again.) I know the tv show will never have this actually happen but I can always dream :)

Thank you for your feedback :) I'll try to slow it down some so that it doesn't go so fast :)

I only got through some of chapter 3, but I think this story has possibility if it were slower paced. It feels rushed. Good luck though.
