Dark Paradise - Comments

Firstly, I just have to say that the layout is gorgeous and I think Lana Del Ray is beautiful, but I'm just wondering if she looks a bit old to play someone who I'm guessing is 16-17? Other than that, I'm intrigued to see how the title connects with the story.

Moving on to the actual content, I have to say I'm quite interested in the man whom Carmen is interested as well. He seems intriguing, as well as the new neighbours. I am already wondering how they play a role in the story, and what drama they'll provide. I can't wait to see where this goes, and I'm defs subbing

Mhmmmm layout is gorgeous. I love how the title is Dark Paradise but the layout is light and still makes it feel like it has to do with some sort of dark paradise. Very fitting.

I like the summery feel of this, how Carmen lounges about on a trampoline. I like how it seems the neighbourhood is deteriorating, and I really want to know what happens to Carmen. Like, is she going to end up like the poor girl who got arrested? Why is the guy so pleased with himself? I'm so curious to know what kind of "dark paradise" Carmen ends up in, if she does at all (because honestly I have no idea).

Also, this is written so well. Like, I love the way Carmen's grandmother talks (I love grandmothers in stories in general, actually, so I'm a bit biased) but mostly I love the narrating voice. I've recced and subbed <3

That was such a nice and beautiful start. I really loved your details and the feel of summer to it. I can't wait to see how Carmen and this man are going to get along and who the girl in the handcuffs is.
