I'm never one for reading romance-y type stories, but I really enjoyed this one. Maybe it was the twist at the end, the fact that you spent so long painstakingly describing how beautiful their relationship was to then tear it apart, or maybe it was just the way that you described everything, I don't know. I genuinely felt for the narrator as I read through this, their mindset was completely clear and oh-so-heartbreaking.
Rather than turning some aspects of this around to become quite harsh, you've managed to write everything so eloquently and I really do love the fact that you described her drowning rather briefly and...I don't want to say beautifully, but there was a certain grace about it, rather than it being a horrible ending. I've never seen that done before and it worked really well in amongst the rest of the story.
The imagery, description and grammar were all pretty much flawless. I love the fact that the first letters spell out 'I will miss you'. It's such a unique way of hiding a message within a story, I've never ever seen that done before.
Absolutely breathtaking, really.
That was so, so beautiful and heartbreaking. The way you described their relationship and how perfect it was to them, just to break it apart was so tragic and amazing. I haven't gotten this emotion over any piece of writing in such a long time.
Your imagery was flawless, as always. You managed to incorporate all of the details and information needed for the story to be effective without it being harsh or gruesome and I really loved that.
The way you added that message with the first letter in every paragraph was so lovely. Ah, I adored this.
So incredible.
