    OKAY I'M LOVIN THIS EVEN MORE. Phillip and Betsy are super cute and it's so sad that her dad died in the war. I love the history behind this and I'm a sucker for history. UPDATE SOON!

    I really like the historical setting of this, especially her father being off fighting in the Vietnam War. I think that's so rarely used as a backdrop, but it's a very interesting one.

    Your dialogue is awesome and adds to the characterisation. I assume it's set in the south based on the way they speak, although I'm not American so I could be wrong, but that's the feeling I get from the narration and the way the characters talk.

    The set up between Phillip and Betsy is intriguing. Based on the summary, I assume that they have quite a story together so I'm curious what exactly goes on between them in the next ten years.

    I think this is a really promising start!
