Actually i disagree with @bxgurl95 and @Astronaut9 because obviously Jack's mom is terrified of Jack's dad. If she would have stepped in, the situation would have been worse.

Ugh! Cliffhangers man! He's a grown man, he should be able to tether his reactions especially JB the face of company. I love this story but in my opinion that chapter moved a bit fast. Just be sure to have pauses and breaks where needed and make it clear when someone else is introduced or talking. Also, you can spend a little more time in each of their heads you know?
