Awe because Gaara loves her so much his sand protected her like it does him. ^^ At least that's what I think happened. Readinf this chapter really made my bad morning better. I like how Hidan fell for such lies after seeing how she reacted with Gaara being knocked out. :)

Gaara no!!! So glad he's alive though. I hope Ayaka stays safe through this battle. I'm assuming she's going with Shikamaru to fight Hidan. Just my guess. Can't wait for the next chapter! :)

Ah! Gaara better not get hurt or Ayaka either for that matter... or at least not fatally wounded, but I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens. I love your story . Can't wait to read more. :)

So I'm assuming Harvest Moon is fun then, might have to check it out. What system are you playing it on? I enjoyed this chapter. I just recently watched Asuma's death and cried through the whole thing with the last words and all. Lame right? Lol Also when is Gaara going to notice her headband, or did I somehow miss it? Or did he expect it so he hasn't said anything. Anyways can't wait to read more. I've never been so excited to read a Gaara fic before. :)

Poor Gaara, trying to be so polite and all Ayaka does is pretty much ignore it. It seems he's starting to succeed, though. And I see Gaara is oblivious to the... effect he has on women.
