Wow. This is absolutely heartbreaking. I know exactly how this feels, but you are really able to make the reader feel this person's pain. I could almost feel my own heart breaking and I wanted to cry. This is so real and honest.

Wonderful job and thanks for entering my contest! c:

I'm glad that you liked it! I wanted a more realistic feel so I went with the pictures on the computer! I'm actually debating after the contest about making it a one-shot kind of, but I shall see lol. I want to go deeper into the whole plot a little more--this is been a story that I've kind of been dying to write. Maybe because it hits home a little more than the others, but I don't know. Anyways! Thank you so much for this amazing comment <3

Help. I love this! I could feel some of the emotion coming from the poor main character. :c
I love love love this line: I missed gazing into those big, beautiful blue eyes of his. Maybe it's the alliteration, I don't know, but there was something about it that made me pause my reading, which made the next sentence confusing, hahah.

I feel so bad for the main character and I wonder what happened between her and her former Navy baby. I love how instead of looking through actual developed photos, she's online/on her computer (much more realistic, in my opinion). And I thought the line about her bawling her eyes out — like dear god, the way it's written makes it so relatable. It's like you can hear the waves of all the memories crashing around in her head with no way out. Wonderful.
