Wow, the first chapter of this story was just heartbreaking. To start with her being so blissfully happy and excited, her hopes and dreams seemingly right there in her reach… just to have them come crashing down around her by the end of it.
I don’t know why they let her even start down the aisle… I think that was a little cruel, in a way. I wish Brian had’ve gone and met her before she walked through the doors, because now she’s got humiliation to add to the list of things wrong with what was supposed to be one of the specialist days of her life.
Aww, it’s sad that her father has passed. But it’s nice that she’s moved back with her mother to offer some comfort. It’s nice to see she has a close relationship with her mother, as a lot of the time in stories the daughter/parent relationships usually suck. Haha.
Plans to see them already? Hopefully it doesn’t end terribly… I think if it was me, I’d specify that I’d be willing to catch up with everyone but Matt. I think he’d be the last person I wanted to see, for fear of having my heart break all over again. I hope that things go well for her, though… she seems to have enough to deal with with the loss of her father, let alone dealing with the man who broke you.
I don't think I`ve read anything like this before. I like the beginning! I already feel so bad for Aria; how do you live with leaving the woman who loves you at the altar? Matt better wake the eff up and treat her like a queen later on in this or Ill kick his butt. (:
