This story is, as pallid. said, quite poetic and really just beautiful. I excitedly await updates.

This story is poetic and mysterious, and grips me by the heart like steel. The raw feeling in the words is fantastic and your word usage is too beautiful. I can't wait for the story to blossom more and I want to know what happened to Alec. His death doesn't sit well with me; like there's more to it. Murder perhaps and that makes me crave more. I very much so like Dominik, too. (I can't tell you if it's because of the actual character or because I love the name Dominik.) I like Alec more than I like Dominik at the moment, which might be a bad thing seeing as Alec is dead and Dominik is a bit of a sweetheart. I like the characters that everyone else hates, though. So oops. I pity him, though, because Naomi is tugging at his heartstrings and he can't let her words sink too far into his head because she always ends up twisted back around on Alec. Perhaps with time, I'll grow to really love him. He has the potential to worm his way into my heart.

"Well, damn." Dominik blows smoke out through his nostrils, a cynical grin tugging at the corners of his mouth. "Just when you think he's finally gone." — I really loved this line. I'm not even too sure why because compared to the rest of the poetic rhythms in the story, it's a quite simple part, but there was something about it that I really loved.

I basically just really love this story so much, and I've been subscribed for some time but I hadn't commented yet for some reason beyond me. It's my doing yet I can't understand why I hadn't ever commented before now. Go figure. Anyway, I do really love this and I'm very excited to watch it blossom in time.

Oh, and I love the layout. It's dark and simple but it's very pretty.

Chapter One: Right away, I'm honestly hooked. You started off with a simile (which I love when authors do that) and you have created a beautiful one that turns into an extended metaphor! (Wow I promise not to bore you with English terms.) But, back to the point, I love how you make him seem like a nuisance and that he was hurtful. And then you deliver a shocker; Alec is dead. Eeep, I can't wait for this story to take off!

Chapter Two: A murder, perhaps? This is a very interesting development to the story. I love that his bad attitude might make other people feel a little less worrisome about his death, saying he had it coming. I am very intrigued and I wanna know more about Alec.

Chapter Three: You have no clue how I much I love this story. Already, you paint a vivid picture without saying too much. Naomi's familuyy has experienced a tragedy before with Hunter (a sister or aunt, I'm guessing?) and it's still mysterious as to what happened. Also, her mother's attitude toward Alec's death is really sad to me. Even if you're mean in real life, I believe all dead deserve respect.

So wow, I'm amazed by this story. I don't understand how this is your first story. This story has so much potential and I'm excited for you.

Right away, you have a beautiful layout and beautiful characterization. Alec is dead but he is described so well that I could not even. I was blown away. You have a creative way of describing your characters that I just haven't seen before. Amazing job with that.

I like Dominik a lot, but somehow I am little suspicious because whenever I like a character, they end up being a bad person. Facepalm

Anyway, your writing style and the plot is obviously intriguing and I want to read more. I also want more people to read more because this story is mysterious and wonderful. Well done. I'm excited for this. :)

I'm totally already in love with this and I'm falling in love with every little chapter! I don't know how I feel about Alec but Dominik is so sweet, I don't even know what to do with myself! Oh, Naomi. I actually don't like a lot of the female leads around here but I just love Naomi already and I feel sorry for everything she's had to go through with Alec and Hunter Cry

I love this story so much I can't even handle it. I'm also jealous that your first story on here is so freaking amazing because mine was horrible. XD

Really though, your descriptions are so flawless and amazing, and your plot and characters are perfect. I loved the first chapter, where you said that Alec was a splinter. It was such perfect way to describe it.

Your writing style is really awesome as well. I love how you keep everything so mysterious but still add enough detail and imagery in the chapters to keep your readers interested and informed, I guess you could say.

I’m so, so excited to see where you go with this.

I think you should be a lot more than a little excited my friend. This story has so much promise to be one of the best on Mibba that it almost terrifies me.

I am in love with the way you compare Alec as a splinter to Naomi. First of all, I can relate to that 100% and let me tell ya, my splinter might not be part of me anymore but he's as pretentious as splinters come and always tries to embed himself back in my skin. Second of all, the detail with which you wrote this is absolutely impressive. You are definitely very talented.

On top of all of your obvious writing talent, the layout and design is absolutely flawless. I love it. I'm very excited for this story, I hope you continue it soon!

First off, your layout is so great.

Secondly, the first chapter already has me tied up in emotions. It's so sad that he had died, but in the same way it's a bit good for Naomi because she got so lost in him that it was probably a bit unhealthy. But I completely understand Naomi's feelings. I was once in love with someone who was a splinter to me but I could never let go of her because she was so enticing and meant to be; just like a splinter. I really love the way you described Alec as a splinter to Naomi. I actually just love this entire piece so far and you definitely got yourself a new subscriber. This is beautifully written and I can't wait to see where you go with it. Update soon :D!

Well, I saw the bit about this being your first story on Mibba, and I have to say that this is a great way to start things off! Everything about the prologue is great; it's written extremely well, it gives just the right amount of information without being too vague or too informative, and the concept seems very good. I can't wait to find out more about both of these characters, exactly what happened between them and the circumstances of their relationship. Keep up the good work! I recommended your story also, just thought you might want to know so that other people can subscribe for the future :D
