You have a gift Tracy. Use it. That type of writing is the best in my opinion. You bring out so much chaacter and emotion in so few words while keeping the scene too realistic. I can see it happening before my eyes, just watching, knowing I can't act. And you make me feel like wanting to save your characters. So sad!

Your snapshots of these types of scenes are so realistic and raw, I can't even handle it. How do you make me feel so much for two characters I don't know? HOW?

And the complexity of Gabriel's emotions. They're so multi-layered and I don't understand how you've done that in such a short amount of words so the only explanation is that this is your gift and I'm just basking in the glory.

The long-suffering look Ben gives him before he walks out the door makes Gabriel taste actual bile in his throat.

Foreshadowing I can taste it

He can barely stand by the time Gabriel pushes him into the bathroom. He privately thanks god his roommate is asleep in the other room, thanks god that Ben remembered his way back to his place.
Ben why And it's like Ben came to him first, that's where he went so people automatically know that they have a history together and it hurts but it's good because he's there and not dead but he also hurt himself and OH THESE FEELINGS
