  • Oh, this story is absolutely beautiful. I love how you give a sense of mystery to it. I think it's so sweet. The way you describe the way you explain his feelings for the girl. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this story is wonderful.

I think the chapter lengths are really good. They aren't too long, and they aren't too short. It's the perfect length wonder what's going to happen next. It's a wonderful story.

The details you use for the story is done really well. (Too be honest I have been finding a lot of stories using good details.) I have a thing for good details, and you achieved one of my favorite things in a story.

On to the summary. You gave just enough to wonder what will happen. I say that the summary is done very well. I love it with just that. I also love the layout. It's absolutely beautiful and simple. Layouts to me just set the scene for the story. It gives an idea to the story.

Anyways, you are a wonderful writer. Keep up the good work.

  • Firstly, can I just say that this layout is absolutely gorgeous? It all just goes so well together and looks so lovely. I love how subtle the title is in the banner as well. It's so simple, but so effective.

Going into chapter one, I'm not too sure what I expected aside from your usual amazing writing style. Your description really is flawless, everything flows together so beautifully. I'm not usually a massive fan of long sentences, but the one you use at the beginning just seems so effortless and perfect where it is. The way that you have Arthur describe Wylie is just perfect, you can really tell how much he loves her just through the words that he uses. The end of the chapter just brought everything down to earth with a thump, and definitely kept me reading

Chapter two definitely picked up my interest, though. I'm always for people starting on one memory and then moving back into the past (which I assume is what happened here), so I really enjoyed that. I loved how formal it all started off (and from my experience, work relationships usually end badly, so I'm looking forward to seeing how you link the relationship into the beginning chapter in that respect) and how it progressed into the third chapter where Wylie pretty much tells Arthur her life story and then ends up calling him Arthur instead of Mr. Churchill. I thought that was a really interesting little addition. Maybe I'm reading into it too much, but she seems like she's getting personal.

I like all of the background that you subconsciously weave into the chapters (specifically 3 and 4) because sometimes giving information about everyday life can be too much and seem mundane and boring, but you've not done that at all. You've added in little facts and anecdotes about Arthur and Wylie's home lives and you haven't just lumped it all into the one mass paragraph. It's really refreshing to find the little details woven carefully within your words so that's definitely impressive in my eyes.

This story is really intriguing so far, Wylie as a character really interests me. She seems so unusual and mysterious. Why does she keep wearing the sweater, why does it mean so much to her? Her entire aura just gives me this air of mystery and I am dying to find out more about her and how her relationship with Arthur progresses and unfolds. I'll definitely be subscribing to find out more!

  • I have to say that this is one of my favorite stories that I have ever read on Mibba. You know I love this story, as we've talked often about it. The way you describe everything is perfect, it's not too much, or too little, it's amazingly perfect. I don't know how else to describe it. I know the inspiration for it, just not how it's going to turn out which gives it a unique feel. Both Author and Wylie seem like amazing characters, you can tell how Wylie is Arthur's everything, his air, his light.

I cannot wait for you to update the next chapters, this is one of the very few stories I'm hooked on. One thing I love is that I feel like I get so much from your writing when you are only writing so little, if that makes sense. I already have a feeling of knowing Wylie. Great chapter!

  • I like the way you started out with Arthur's dream and did that seamless break into him being all alone in his room. There aren't a lot of writers who can pull off the dream scene, but I think you did a really good job of making it seem like a part of the story, and I liked that it was actually relevant to what was going on and gave some insight into Arthur's personality, especially by showing his love for Wylie and just how soft and whimsical she was. I think this is a brilliant story and you're doing a very wonderful job with it Cute

  • Ugh, I love your writing so much. The layout is so, so gorgeous and I really liked your summary. The title is also lovely. I've always liked that word. tehe

I adore your descriptions, I think I've mentioned this before, but I like how you change your writing style based on the type of story you're writing. This one is mysterious and interesting and full of fantastic descriptions, which fits really well with the plot.

I like your characters, you haven't developed them too much, considering the story is only three chapters in, but you've shown what they're like and I can tell they're going to be really interesting.

I also liked how, in the second chapter, Wylie called Arthur "Mr. Churchill" and then in the third one she called him "Arthur". Maybe I'm looking too far into it, but after the paragraph about him deciding who he should be with her, it seemed like she was getting more friendly and what not with him. tehe

Anyways, amazing story, as always! I look forward to reading more of it!

  • As soon as I started reading, I loved it. I got the feeling of being in an old 60s TV show for a moment at the beginning as Arthur and Wiley simply enjoyed one another's company, but that quickly ended as soon as I realised he had been dreaming. It almost seems to me like the dream was what he is really living, and his reality is what he dreams. Obviously that's not how it's meant to be read but I have a bit of a weird mind.

The way you described Wiley shows her to me as a flawed girl, by far not perfect, but so much more beautiful than even the sun. Arthur's total infatuation with her is shown in his every thought and movement.

I really am excited to follow this and see where it leads, as it has that feel of hiding something bigger, more consuming, under its sleeve.

    Absolutely wonderful story! Very Happy

  • Ugh your layout is perfection! It's light and friendly, but still has a dark feel to it, in a way. It's uncertain. The photos, which seem to be from some sort of photography set, look simply amazing.

Your summary was the perfect length and seemed to be a great attention catcher. Many questions come to my mind after reading it; questions I want to find answers to.

I'm not sure I understood the first chapter once it approached the end, but it seemed to me like he dreamed of waking up after a dream - a dream within a dream. The chapter other than that though, was very nice. A moment that would only last two minutes at most was given such nice details that I could imagine it perfectly.

I'm not sure if you meant to, but the second chapter was a tad confusing. Confusing in the sense that not enough information is given. I suppose I'll have to return! [Also, I thought I was the only one to use the word irk; let me love you.] Very well done!
