@ Thatmom exactly the same with my family! We were an extended family with a mix of my Filipino paternal grandparents and my American maternal grandparents. My parents have so many mixes as well that's why many people ask my siblings and I what we really are. Top guesses are Korean and Mexican though we're not of that descent, maybe that's why I picked Korean? :)

So precious!!! My family is a mixed race family. 4 Asians. 2 Anglo. 2 Anglo parents. We get funny looks when we go places and that's okay because we wouldn't have it any other way:)

@ Maddi;Thank you so much for this comment I'll be updating it regularly before school starts. I grew up in a multi-racial society and the reason I used a different race is so that fans of other ethnicities can connect to the story as well. I hope North American and European hockey and literature fans can also see a small glimpse of the eastern side through this story.

I love that you use some Asian characters in this story. Most of the stories I see have the typical blonde bombshell cast for all of the characters (I'm probably even guilty of doing that myself a few times ::XD) but you switched it up by adding some racial diversity and I like the cultural feel that brought to the story. Even something as simple as that really makes the story stand out as being different and unique, and I really enjoyed reading it. I think readers really notice things like that. I can’t wait to see what happens next and I hope you update this story soon!
